Franken - White Glitter

Application: Yuck
Coats: 2 plus 2 thick coats of topcoat - to no avail.
Source: ABOP Franken
Comments: Ugh. Franken-fail!  Another one from my week of fascination with franken glitter. I think my polish to glitter ratio was all wrong here. I was trying to make it super blingy, and had too much of the glitter. This meant it applied really thick and dried to a crust almost instantly. Even topcoat couldn't salvage this chunky mess. I took it off immediately. LA Colors Color Craze - Live was used for the accent finger. I think I'll be wearing that on its own soon.

  2. @jaljen: Lol! Yah, those are hideous crusties - from every angle. I want to show the good, bad, and ugly though, so here ya go!

  3. Maybe you're just ahead of the trend--next fall when OPI introduces chunky finish, you can say they stole your idea! :)

  4. I've had many franken fails! I know what you're talking about! I've had a creme franken turn into the consistency of salt water taffy. It was not salvageable! You made a really neat glitter thought it's too bad it didn't turn out right.

  8. Oh my goodness, I'm not trying to scare anyone from frankening! This is my first dud in my frankens so far. Just use my frankenpolish tag to find all my frankens so far.
I'm still going to salvage this one too - will just add more polish to it - either clear or a shimmer, I haven't decided yet. I'll be sure to post though. Maybe I'll do it tonight.
