COMMENTS:
This was a quick and easy flakie franken.

Essence - Can't Cheat on Me (enhanced with spectraflair)

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Ulta
COMMENTS:
When I purchased this, I felt it lacked an adequate amount of holographic pigment so added some spectraflair to it.

ABOP Franken - sunshine sorbet

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Frankenpolish = Spectraflair powder + one of the OPI sorbet polishes
COMMENTS:
I mixed this one a long time ago and am only now getting round to wearing it. Looked juicy but the holo didn't quite pop - even in sunshine.

Abop franken - I wish I had more of you

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Frankenpolish = remnants from a mix of some flakies and something else that I don't remember
COMMENTS:
I ran into this almost empty bottle of "accidental franken" recently and decided it was time to take it for a spin. Now I wish I had more of it, lol.

Frankened Beige Blast = Blue Blast?

COATS:
3
SOURCE:
Franken = Sally Hansen Beige Blast + Mia Secret Blue Tint
COMMENTS:
After wearing Sally Hansen Beige Blast, I knew I wouldn't be wearing it as it was again, so I added some Mia Secret Blue Tint to it to get another mani out of the polish.  Of course the tint didn't contribute anything in terms of opacity - this still took 3 coats.

Abop Franken - taupe with flakies

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Abop franken = Barielle Buddha-ful + ?? (I don't remember what else I mixed this with)
COMMENTS:
As much as I like the flakies in this, I don't think the base color is flattering on me. Good thing it's a mini-bottle.

ABOP franken - Calypso in Satin Sheets

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Frankenpolish = Revlon Satin Sheets + Sinful Colors Calypso
COMMENTS:
Satin Sheets is one of those shimmers that takes too many coats to wear properly but lends itself easily to mixtures. I used it once here with purple before, but this time opted for a different color. I think I like this franken/mix more than the last one I made with it.

Glitter franken using Le Chat Mood - Deep Sea, and process

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Same as previous posts - gel polish + holographic glitter
COMMENTS:
Deciding to keep it simple this time I stuck with just one thermal gel polish for my franken. I've included photos of my process for mixing just enough for one manicure (two coats).

Thermal holographic glitter franken using multiple Le Chat Mood polishes

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Mixture of: 4 different Le Chat Perfect Match Mood gel polishes, Elite99 Metallic top coat gel polish, silver holographic glitter, gold holographic glitter.
COMMENTS:
I decided to try this again (because it's fun!) but I think I had too many polishes in the mixture, so ended up with something similar to my last one.  To give myself something interesting to look at, I re-did one nail as an accent using two other gel polishes.

Thermal holographic glitter gel franken using Le Chat Moood - Crimson Nightfall

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Mixture of: Le Chat Perfect Match Mood gel polish - Crimson Nightfall, Elite99 Metallic top coat gel polish, silver holographic glitter, gold holographic glitter.
COMMENTS:
I wanted a glittery gel that would also change color when I washed my hands.  I knew I didn't want a whole bottle of this, so mixed just what I needed.
