There’s nothing quite like the high contrast pop of a (1-coat) white polish next to my brown skin tone. Gesso is also the perfect name for this treat from Funky Fingers, which I'm of course not wearing for the first time. I meant to add some nail art but never got round to it.

This is somewhat of an unfinished mani since I didn't fill out the hearts on all the pink nails, but I enjoyed it immensely anyway. I still had this pink from a previous mani sitting on my desk and I just had to wear it again. 3 coats of Golden Rose with protein no. 324 alternated with 1 coat of Funky Fingers Gesso.

I first saw the stunning Fresh Paint - Sophia on an instagram page (@mannicured) and found it in my local store shortly after. This color must have triggered some extra creativity because I had so much fun putting this mani together. It has a bit of everything - layering, stamping, stripes, dots. The final result made me smile a lot. I may do this same mani in another color way sometime.

Wow, I've really been slacking on keeping this blog up to date. I started posting on Instagram during the summer, but still prefer to use the blog when searching for something specific that I've worn.
