Pure Ice - Magic, and some glitter

APPLICATION: Smooth
COATS: 2
TOPCOAT?: Yes
SOURCE: Walmart (Pure Ice) and nail supply in LA (glitter)
COMMENTS: Sorry, no photos of this one on its own. I had planned to wear something else, but decided to "play" after taking off my previous manicure and ended up with this. I like it, but need to streamline the way I apply glitter. This was my mani for the LA (MakeupAlley) Nailboard meetup - which was fun! It was so nice to spend time in the company of people who feel the same way about nail polish!

  1. Beautiful! How long does pure ice last?

  2. Thanks for the comments!

@Nail Designs xox: I don't wear my manis for more than 3 days usually, so I can't really say. For the most part though, a good base and top coat go a long way to making a manicure last longer.

  6. So baroque! I like it. It really suits your tan. It's not for pale hands.

  10. @Stickers: I actually think this color might look BETTER next to pale skin as there would be higher contrast.

@The Nail Buff: I dipped a thick brush in the glitter and dabbed it on the tips. Then I tapped it over the rest of the nail to get a get a less dense amount of glitter on the rest of the nail.
