TOPCOAT?: Yes, after hex glitter added.
SOURCE: www.goldenroseusa.com (wow, they raised their prices since I last ordered!)
COMMENTS: This is definitely one of my favorite manis! The iridescent hex glitter is amazing! It reminds me of pretty tiles in a backsplash, and makes the whole manicure feel marine-like. Definitely check out the video if you can, photos don't do this justice.
And the video (still not as clear as the original, but passable):
The glitter looks great on this mani!ReplyDelete
Yeah I like the glitter!ReplyDelete
Beautiful blue! I love love that hex glitter. Can I ask where you bought it? I wonder if it'd be franken-able or if it'd melt. Thx!ReplyDelete
Really pretty! The colour is great, I can see why it reminds you of tiles! HxReplyDelete
So pretty. Love the glitter on it too.ReplyDelete
Lovely hex glitter. A great mani and something you can only do on long nails like yours...ReplyDelete
Drool! That is awesome! Those blues/turquoise colors are definitely your best. First thing it reminded me of was pictures of the tropics. THEN I watched the video and "sequined blue dress" came to mind, lol. Thanks for doing some blue w/glitter! OK, headed to Sally's tomorrow to check out the glitters!ReplyDelete
This is so pretty! I love the colour :)ReplyDelete
Great mani, I gave you the Kreative Blogger Award!ReplyDelete
it is so cute~ReplyDelete
Pretty color :DReplyDelete
Speaking of bling, check out the reflection in the gloss of your mani! KAPOW!ReplyDelete
i love the glitter, it adds an extra 'something'.ReplyDelete
it reminds me of fish! :)
Thanks for the comments!ReplyDelete
@Rachel: I bought the glitter in downtown LA at a nail supply store. I got 6 different colors for $2 although they also had a larger set for $5.
@jaljen: I accept the challenge! I'll try to show how similar glitter can be used in a way that would be attractive on shorter nails as well - sometime in the next week, next mani even... maybe.
love what you do with your manis. you make me actually "like" hex glitter (which I don't) lolReplyDelete
I'm really liking your bling, such a vibrant blue too!ReplyDelete
You have an Award on my blog!ReplyDelete
I just ordered my first GOlden Roe holos, and I'm in love! However, now you've got me wanting to try their cremes too!ReplyDelete
