Orly - Glam Rock, and nail stickers

APPLICATION: Smooth, but had to be applied quickly as it dries fast.
COATS: 2
TOPCOAT?: After adding stickers, yes
SOURCE: Nail supply store
COMMENTS: I think I liked this mani more before the topcoat. The matte effect is lovely. With topcoat it turned into a color that I'm just so-so about on my nails.

    It looks pretty cool with the topcoat. :) But my matte loving heart agrees and likes the matte one better.

    Ohh am loving this, both ways! But maybe you can use a matte top coat on top of the shiny one if you liked it better that way?

    Bregje makes a good point! Also, I like it slightly more with the gloss topcoat. I think it makes the gold stickers stand out a little more.

    I like it both ways too.
    Question regards removing nail stickers, I find it really take ages and a lot of scraping, how do you take off stickers?

    @pkbmum: You're right, with most stickers, especially really thick ones, removal is a pain. These are a little thinner. I saturate my cut up pieces of cotton wool with remover (acetone with a bit of glycerine and essential oils) when I place it on the nail. That way some of it can get under the sticker to facilitate removal. I also place a piece on every nail first and wait a few minutes for the remover to penetrate before sliding the cotton off my nails.

    For really stubborn stickers I remove all the surrounding nail polish, use tweezers to peel off what remains of the sticker, and finish off the rest of the polish with remover.

    I prefer the matte mani too . Either way it is still gorgeous . I love the little stickers .

    Thanks for the reply to my question. I too saturate but it is not acetone remover, perhaps I need to invest in some, do you recommend any?
