Application: Smooth
Coats: 2
Source: Dollar Tree, and unfortunately, the bottle was missing the sticker, so I have no idea what it's called.
Comments: Another beautiful vampy color with a purple/burgundy base. When I was younger, I never would have thought to wear colors like this, but I think my skin actually likes them. Of course, not hubby-approved, lol! I really like that Sally Hansen builds shine into so many of their polishes. I may invest in some drying drops as I feel like I'm wasting topcoat when I use it on colors like this.
I love these square bottles and rubber-grip caps. Why, oh why did they change the design?
Here I'm trying to show the color better.
Then, of course, I decided to have some fun with other topcoats.
From L to R: The SH for this post
Orly - Prisma Gloss Gold
Borghese - Cristallo Shimmer
Cover Girl - City Lights
Sally Hansen - Hidden Treasure
What's that on the pinky you ask? I added white to the original color for some (ugly) nail art just to see the contrast before I put on the topcoats. Topcoats in same order as above
And then in reverse order
In ambient daylight
So, should we come up with a name for that vampy color? ;) It is wickedly gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAnd your nails look awesome!!!
Kimberly, I'm kinda hoping someone will recognize it and tell me what it's called. I don't want to give it an identity crisis by naming it and later finding out its real name.
ReplyDeleteI understand why you had fun but that looked sooooooooo good on you!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWait I might own that...I'll check my stash when I get home.
I'm dying to get my hands on a bottle of SH Hidden Treasure! Love that vampy color also :)
ReplyDeleteI like the color topped with City Lights!
ReplyDeleteI bought the same bottle at DT and mine was labeled "Pat on the Black"
I love a deep dark color in the Summertime, and I'm with you that bottle is great!
ReplyDeleteHT makes everything look that much more beautiful! Thanks for the swatches...
