COMMENTS: First I must apologize for completely forgetting to get a bottle picture or a picture of the polish on all fingers. However, the polish as-is with topcoat is on my ring finger. I topped the rest of my nails with 1 coat of Cover Girl - City Lights and it was gorgeous! I think this has been my most distracting mani so far. I can't stop looking at my nails.
I also used a new quick dry topcoat the store owner threw in for free called Quick Slicker. I prefer the smell to other topcoats, and it dries reasonably quickly.

I have Star and it's my favourite black. I'm waiting for a Misa haul to arrive. Misa is such a good brand.

ReplyDeletei used to hate holos.. but I tried one recently.. and I think i found a new love..so much party in a polish. I like this black holo... a little more understated glitz.

ReplyDeleteThis Misa polish is actually not holographic - it's a black sparkle that I added a holographic topcoat to. My ring finger has the original color.
That aside, for a holo with a gold base, you could try one of the ones from the China Glaze OMG line. I think GR8 from the line is a gold holo. I have this but haven't worn it yet, so you may have to search the web for swatches.
