    1. Their site is under construction right now, but they'll hopefully be back soon. You can do a similar mani with any other well-pigmented colors though - American Apparel, Sally Hansen, Kleancolor, Avon, and Bettina are a few brands that come to mind which have a large range of well-pigmented bold colors.

  11. Do you have tips on how to make this look good? I experimented a bit yesterday but it looked weird. I think I "over-dotted"...

    1. Hi Andrea!
The first thing that comes to mind is the size of the dotting tool. You want to make sure you can fit all your colors, so use a small one to start, and remember that you can always come back through to fill in any blank spaces. Also, try to spread out each color around the nail.

Secondly, use your smallest nail as your guide. I noticed that my pinky could handle three dots of my first color without looking crowded, so I used 4 - 5 on the larger nails to keep them looking proportional, and kept those numbers pretty consistent for all colors. If I was using fewer colors I would have more dots per color.

Thirdly, use partial and sometimes smaller dots. This helps to fill in the space at the edges, and gives the illusion of a full dot even though it's not.

And finally, have fun! You don't have to fit all your planned colors in if it starts to look crowded. In my photos above, you can see that I could have stopped at just three or five colors and still had a fun mani. It helps to plan out the order in which you will apply your colors so that if you do start to get crowding, it will be at a time when the colors you like most have already been placed on the nail. Hope this helps!
