L'Oreal - Mango-Get-Em and Wet N Wild - Blazed

APPLICATION: Smooth
COATS: 2 of each
TOPCOAT?: Yes
SOURCE: Both purchased from various drugstores.
COMMENTS: In an email exchange with Poetic Realist of the blog Life.Love.Nailpolish., she mentioned her love for Coral shades. I responded that I hadn't yet worn a coral that didn't look like orange on me. She then suggested these two colors - both of which I already had in my stash (seriously, this is why I need to stop buying nail polish!). I'm wearing both, and am happy to say neither looks orange on me. Thanks so much J!!

I stamped this with a pattern of miniature fleurs de lis using Confetti - Vava Voom.

ABOP Franken - Sheer Strawberry Save

APPLICATION: Smooth
COATS: 2
TOPCOAT?: Yes
SOURCE: Franken made by mixing an almost full bottle of Sally Hansen - Sheer Strawberry with Orly - La Playa and Orly - Galaxy Girl.
COMMENTS: I've been trying to slowly shrink my gargantuan nail polish collection, and Sheer strawberry was one of the ones on the chopping block. However, it was just begging to be used in a franken, so I complied.

A quick look at Sheer Strawberry (on the right) before the franken - from a previous post:

 And now...

Outdoors in sunlight (you can tell from the nail tips that it's still somewhat sheer):

Shorties in the buff

COMMENTS: A number of you mentioned that my shorter nails are still rather long. I guess they are - but mostly because I have nail beds that are of a decent length. I just wanted to show you what they look like in all their bare, partially stained glory. The skin underneath my nail grows past my actual fingertip, so it really does hurt to try filing them any shorter.

ABOP's first blog sale

Hi everyone! I'm trying to trim down my stash and have put some items for sale on the tab at the top of my blog (Blog Sale). The items are either used for a mani or two, swatched on a false tip, or are backups of exiting polishes. I included links to my photos where available.
Shipping will be to the US only, sorry.   Here are thumbnail photos of what is available, but please check out the sale page for an updated listing, pricing and instructions.

I'll be back with some nail photos soon!
