I wanted to wear this beautiful neutral color again but it's taken me years to get back to it. As beautiful as it was, I added a gold shimmer, which definitely made it better.
** Yo quería llevar este hermoso color neutral de nuevo, pero me ha llevado años para volver a ella. Tan hermoso como era, añadí un resplandor de oro, lo que sin duda lo hizo mejor.

This is a beautiful spring color that I resisted buying for a long time. I finally bought it during a discount sale on the Barielle site and am glad I did. I think the Sation adds the perfect amount of textural interest over it.
** Este es un color hermoso de primavera que me resistía a comprar por mucho tiempo. Finalmente lo compró en una venta de descuento en el sitio Barielle y estoy contenta de haberlo hecho. Creo que el Sation añade la cantidad perfecta de interés textural sobre él.

This is another manicure recommended by my husband! He requested for green with yellow. "Yellow dots?" I asked, "No...", he thought for a while, "Yellow stripes". So here it is, courtesy of my love!
** Esta es otra manicura recomendado por mi marido! Pidió para el verde con amarillo. "Los puntos amarillos?" Le pregunté, "No. ..", pensó por un momento, "rayas amarillas". Entonces aquí está, cortesía de mi amor!

Another "oldie but goodie" nail polish, Suede Shoes was just one coat! I think it may be because it has thickened up over the years, but I was happy to have a quick manicure. The stamping was done with a pattern from my Magnonails XL plate D. (There is now a US seller on Amazon offering plates with the same patterns. I have not purchased anything from this seller, but wanted to let you know anyway)
** Otro "viejo pero bueno" esmalte de uñas, Suede Shoes era una sola capa! Creo que puede ser porque ha engrosado a lo largo de los años, pero yo estaba feliz de tener una manicura rápida. La estampación se realiza con un patrón de mis Magnonails XL placa de D. (Ahora hay un vendedor EE.UU. en Amazon que ofrece platos con los mismos patrones. No he comprado nada de este vendedor, pero quería hacerles saber de todos modos)

Sation - Purple Royal and some shimmer topcoats
APPLICATION: Smooth
COATS: 2 of Purple Royal
TOPCOAT?: Yes, after the shimmers.

COMMENTS: I originally wasn't sure I liked this color (as mentioned in this post from 2010), especially since it's not quite purple, but it's gorgeous! I layered it with some shimmers from Pure Ice and A Perfect "10" (both made by Bari Cosmetics).
2 coats, no topcoat - look at the jelly goodness!

A Perfect "10" - Power Up (this is a dupe for Pure Ice - Busted)
Pure Ice - Rio
Pure Ice - Tease
Rio and Tease are essentially the same, just in different colored bases.
Outdoors:

Sation - 18K Gold and Sally Hansen - Dazzling
Application: Smooth.
Coats: 2 of 18K Gold, followed by 1 of Dazzling

Comments: BRING ON THE BLING! (it's about time too, right?) I love the old Sally Hansen glitters. They're small, dense and easy to apply. My favorite way to apply glitters is like I've done for this mani - first a similar base color, then one coat of the glitter. Easy application, easy removal. I'm loving having some bling on my nails after such a long time!
Coats: 2 of 18K Gold, followed by 1 of Dazzling

ABOP's Ugly Awesome Polishes
Brooke over at Getcha Nails Did had this fabulous concept about nailpolish that is ugly to the point of being awesome. You should definitely read her post about it if you haven't yet.
Well, I dug up a few of these (and there are many more, but I believe in giving each bottle in my stash a chance to shine).
Maybelline Passing by Pink, Sally Hansen Classy Frost, Chill Frost, Forsythia, and Sation Purple Royal
3 coats of each - mostly because the chalky Passing by Pink (on pinky) was still streaky on the second coat. Yes I know, I have a dent in my middle finger.
They're starting to grow on me at this point. I can't stop looking at Purple Royal (thumb). Is it a "jelly"? Classy frost (ring finger) went from looking like mud in the bottle to chocolate on the nails.
And then of course I do with these what I do with manis destined for destruction. Try out some stamps on them of course!

Comments: I guess this is my "mannequin hand" color. It really does look like you're seeing my nail beds instead of my nails. Speaking of nails - had to chop them a few tips were peeling and I have a split in the middle of my right thumbnail. Yuck. Doesn't stop me from enjoying my polish though! I may have to get a backup of this color...
In this last pic I'm comparing the color on my nail to Color Club Best Dressed List. They look pretty similar. Will have to wear it to really find out though.
