  2. That Simply Sweet is one unusual polish--sheer matte crackle?

    1. It actually turned out that my base coat was to blame. I wore the same polish without a base coat a base coat later (in June's monthly manifest, which I haven't posted yet), and it was nice and smooth.

  3. I love the green manucure, with the dotte, for the third one, do you use a matte top-coat on a crackle polish,to obtain that result, or use a crackle matte ?

    1. The third one was a matte polish that seems to only work properly when there is no base coat. I had base coat under it there, and it made it act like that.
I wore that matte polish again a few weeks later, without base coat, and it was smooth.

  6. These are some beautiful looks. I was reluctant to use nail decals (not sure why) but do you use any particular kinds? Also, what kind of stamping plates do you use? Thanks I love your blog.

    1. Hi Shannon,
I have a recent post on nail decals and where I've been able to find them - I have a few that are specifically for nails, but more often I use temporary tattoos or scrapbooking rub-on decals.
For stamping I first bought a few Konad ones (from OC Nail Art) and two Bundlemonster (from Amazon) sets. However the full nail images on those are way too small for my nails.
I then tried Magnonails XL plates (from Magnonails) and those are much larger but only fit my nails when they're short.
This year I purchased the DRK plates (from Ninja Polish) and the Laelac plates (from Llarowe), and those are all extremely large which is perfect for me. I still use the Magnonails plates, but haven't bothered with the smaller Konad and Bundlemonster ones since.

Hope this helps and that you continue to enjoy my blog!
