Another manicure I haven't done in a long time - a nail foil! I found this easier to apply than one with patterns, and it was still impressive after topcoat.
** Otro de manicura que no he hecho hace mucho tiempo - una lámina de uña! Me pareció más fácil de aplicar que una con los patrones, y seguía siendo impresionante después de la capa final.

That is the most stunning silver I've seen!! Silly question: Is it a liquid polish or an actual stick on foil?
ReplyDeleteIt's a foil that you have to first apply foill glue to your nail for. Once the glue s ready (clear and tacky), you place a precut piece of the foil on it, with the pattern side up, and rub on it so the foil releases from the backing and adheres to your nail.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm using a foil vibrant pink! Love!
ReplyDeleteToo bad my nails are medium, I'm willing to nail big.
Hey, could enjoy the fan page of my blog? click here!. Thank you.

Is it a special nail foil or just a regular foil.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I understand your question... Here is a link to a great post (and short) tutorial video on applying nail foils like this that might help:

Me encantan estos "foil" pero no sé donde los puedo comprar...
ReplyDeleteBesotes
Creo que están ampliamente disponibles en Europa. Pruebe esta página también de un blog francés que me encanta - se enumeran algunos lugares donde se puede comprar: Tarteofraises nail foil page.
DeleteThat looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT!! Looks like Minx nails. So high tech looking :-)
ReplyDeleteI can never get the foil to transfer well. I always have tiny little bare patches. Yours looks really good!
ReplyDeleteMelissa, if it's not a patterned foil you can apply FOIL glue to those patchy areas and re-foil them. I had to do that in some places with this mani.
Deletehow long did it stay?
ReplyDeleteI had it on for two days before changing to another mani. The last time I did a foil I had it on for 4 days. I hear it barely makes it through 1 day without topcoat, so if you try it, I definitely advise using at least two coats of topcoat.
DeleteThat is so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! THAT is some super awesome foil action! Thanks so much for sharing this with us! :D
ReplyDeleteOMG gorgeous foil and lovely nails
ReplyDeleteI feel like Beyonce pulled these nails a while back during some of her concerts! Know what I'm talking about?!
