COMMENTS: I was looking for a quick and easy mani and my eye settled on this bottle. The bottle makes the color look like it has more yellow in it, but this turned out to be an amazing milk-chocolatey brown. Not the color I expected (I wanted one of those ugly-awesome colors), but still beautiful.
The dots were added with a Kiss Nail art pen.
And with a tiny bit of the chaos of my nail area in the background (and no, I still haven't worn that Misa):

ReplyDeleteEllie~ this color is the one I need in my collection...I have 4 polishes from NYX GIRLS, the ones I recommend r the shimmerie ones they pick up the shimmer quite good...one thing I haven't test is how long do they last w/ out a top coat??? Which other nyx girl polishes do u recommend w only two coats of laquer? I have HEATHER, BETWEEN MAUVE & PURLE, NUDE PEACH which is similar to van'd go by Essie and Maui Sunrise this one I only use as as shimmerie top coat on red/ burgundy polishes :)
ReplyDelete@Anonymous (Ellie?): I actually haven't used all the Nyx girl polishes I have, but so far most of them are two coats only (the yellow (My Sunshine) is an exception - needs three). You're right, the shimmers are fabulous, and I made sure I bought them all :) If you like reds, Woman is a beautiful one that almost looks like it glows! They also have a number of greens and blue/greens that are gorgeous cremes.
ReplyDeleteI think they're priced well enough that you really can't go wrong. As for wear time without topcoat, I'm sorry but I always wear topcoat, so I can't share any information on that...
