This is why I said this black glitter was no good! I wore the yellow franken the day after I made it, but look, it's no longer yellow! Because the glitter was still losing color, it changed the color of the polish. I made a fresh one and wore it the next day. You'll see that mixture in the next post.

  6. Hey girl. I'm looking for a good satin and matte topcoat. Which do you recommend?

    1. The NYC one I used here is pretty good, and budget friendly. The one I like most - of the ones I've tried so far - is Hard Candy - Matte-ly in Love.
For a satin topcoat I would recommend mixing some clear with some matte topcoat as the only one I've used is now discontinued. I haven't tried it yet, but am willing to try mixing and sharing the results with you. Let me know. :)

  7. What brand of black glitter is it? Is it craft glitter or a Polish? All the glitters I've tried so far bleed into the clear and change my color almost immediately. I really love the way this looks! Even if it only lasts for one manicure. The speckles as awesome!! Thx for sharing :)

    1. Hi Melissa,
This is craft glitter, and yes, it does bleed. The brand is Creatology, and I purchased it from Joann fabric and crafts. Here is a photo of the glitter: Craft Glitter The size and shape are perfect, but the color loss is the huge drawback.
