I felt like wearing something translucent on my nails, and settled on one of my many polishes by Simply Sweet. I applied two coats of the gray then added 1 coat of the Sally Hansen before a final thin coat of the gray. The final look was exactly what I was hoping for!

I love using these Simply Sweet matte polishes out when I feel like applying color without the extra step of applying a base coat. Unfortunately they dry while you are applying them, so don't have a smooth surface. One coat of topcoat makes it perfectly smooth, and even better with stamping!
**  Me encanta usar estos esmaltes mates de Simply Sweet  cuando tenga ganas de aplicar el color sin el paso adicional de aplicar una capa de base. Remember this nail polish? It's the one I tried to wear a while ago that cracked on my nails. Well, I decided to try it out again, but this time without a base coat. It worked! I stamped using some Sally Hansen Insta-dris and the DRK-A plate.

This nail polish was a strange one. When I applied it to a false nail, it looked like a matte polish. However, when I wore it, the surface cracked. Is it supposed to do that? I don't know, but I removed it right away because that's not what I wanted!
**  Este esmalte de uñas era un extraño. Cuando se lo aplica a una uña falsa, parecía un esmalte mate. Pero cuando me lo puse, la superficie agrietada. ¿Se supone que hacer eso? No sé, pero lo quité enseguida porque eso no es lo que yo quería!

I have so many nail polish sets that I need to get serious about wearing them. I used this whole set for my manicure.

COMMENTS: Not much to say here - I felt like wearing a jelly-ish nail polish so grabbed one of these Simply Sweet ones since I have lots of them. I also grabbed a glitter that had a base that looked somewhat similar.
The base color of the glitter is barely visible on the nail, so I just used that as an accent and layered it over the color on the rest of my nails. This was a fun sparkly mani.
