There’s nothing quite like the high contrast pop of a (1-coat) white polish next to my brown skin tone. Gesso is also the perfect name for this treat from Funky Fingers, which I'm of course not wearing for the first time. I meant to add some nail art but never got round to it.

This is somewhat of an unfinished mani since I didn't fill out the hearts on all the pink nails, but I enjoyed it immensely anyway. I still had this pink from a previous mani sitting on my desk and I just had to wear it again. 3 coats of Golden Rose with protein no. 324 alternated with 1 coat of Funky Fingers Gesso.

This one is actually a bit of a duochrome - at times there was a blue tint to it, but it was difficult to capture on the camera.

I wish I could say I liked this mani... I really didn't like the way the Revlon looked on me, so layered on the glitter to salvage it. It was wearable for me then - but just barely. I think the shade just wasn't flattering to my skin. Can't win them all!

I wanted a quick stamped mani so started with a 1-coat white creme. Then I couldn't decide what two colors to stamp with and ended up with this. Ah well.
