I started out my manicure with a plan to wear something translucent. Then I realized it was the perfect base for this Fingerpaints polish that I've wanted to wear for so long, but didn't know how to wear. The fact that the names are also similar is such a funny coincidence!

I drew some black stripes on one fingernail so I could see what Psychedelic Sunshine looked like over black.

These mini nail polishes were actually very thick at first, so I had to thin them first. The colors are quite beautiful - each has some golden shimmer. I wore all except the blue and green ones.

APPLICATION: Smooth after adding some thinner and balls to the bottle.
COATS: 2
TOPCOAT?: Only after adding glitter.
SOURCE: Funkadelic from Ross - as part of a set, glitter from Sally Beauty Supply.
COMMENTS: I remember someone saying they wanted to see this one when I first showed you the set. Here it is!
The initial plan for this manicure was to sandwich the glitter by applying a third coat of Funkadelic over it. I liked the way it looked once the glitter was on though, so I left it like that.

Started with two coats of Funkadelic:

Then added glitter:

Added a matte topcoat on day 2 - love it, looks like frosted glass!

APPLICATION: A little difficult as the polish was thick. Had to add thinner after first coat.
COATS: 2 on index and middle, 3 on ring and pinky fingers
TOPCOAT?: No

COMMENTS: I picked these up quite a while ago and realized recently that they are all jellies! What with my jelly-fever lately I decided to swatch one. I think the nails with 3 coats are nice, and would look even nicer with topcoat!
