This is such a pretty color! As usual though, I had to add some nail art ...
**  Este es un color tan bonito! Como siempre he tenido que añadir un poco de arte de uñas ...

Rimmel - Wild Orchid and Sally Hansen - No Hard Feelings

APPLICATION: Smooth on Rimmel (I love the brush!), a little watery on the first coat of Sally Hansen.
COATS: 2 each
TOPCOAT?: Yes
SOURCE: Walgreens
COMMENTS: I have both these bottles next to me as  I write this, and noticed that they coincidentally also have the same "color number" - 370. How random! My camera doesn't capture purples well, but these are both lovely lavender polishes. The Sally Hansen was used on my ring finger as an accent.

Rimmel - Steel Grey

Application: Smooth. Love the flat wide brush with rounded tip. I had less cleanup to do as a result.
Coats: 2
Topcoat?: Yes
Source: Walgreens
Comments: This was a dream to apply, and is a gorgeous color! I really have to show some more love to the grey-ish colors in my collection.

Sally Hansen Ruby Slipper - pic heavy

Application: Smooth
Coats: 2
Source: Kmart
Comments: This is a gorgeous red with what looks like gold, red and orange micro flakies. I tried SO hard to capture just how beautiful this polish is, and unfortunately, it looks the most awesome in low lighting, so the camera couldn't get it properly. I started my mani with an accent finger featuring Rimmel - Sunny Side which is more pink/peach colored than shown. Since that turned out looking hideous, I covered it up later. I FINALLY got some sunlight for the last four pictures.

Mo' polished blues...

Rimmel - Marine Blue (index and ring fingers)
NDB - Tahitian Pearl (middle and pinky)
Maybelline - Jaded Blues (accent)
Application: Both the NDB and Rimmel went on nicely. However, the Rimmel was a tad difficult because of the flat wide brush. I used a separate brush to apply the Maybelline stripe.
Coats: 2 of each.
Source: NDB from Skyline Beauty, Rimmel from one of the drugstores (CVS, Rite Aid or Walgreens), and Maybelline from Dollar Tree
Comments: I realized I hadn't worn any of my NDB colors as a full mani, so pulled out Tahitian Pearl. Then, I shopped my swatches for a color that was close to it and found the Rimmel. These are quite close, but the NDB Tahitian Pearl has more green shimmer in it. I couldn't get my camera to capture that accurately (grrr!). In the bottle, the Maybelline also looked similar to the NDB, but with much more green shimmer, so I used that as an accent instead.
