My second water marble!

TOPCOAT?: Yes
COMMENTS: I used three other Nabi colors for marbling over my previous mani.  It didn't turn out perfectly, but I'm really happy with it.  Honestly, this took me so long that I considered leaving my right hand with just the base color. I'm glad I persevered because I actually kept this on for three full days!

Nabi - Angel Blue, China Glaze - Secret Peri-Wink-Le

APPLICATION: Smooth
COATS: 1 of the Nabi, 2 of the China Glaze
TOPCOAT?: See below
SOURCE: I purchased a dozen of the new formula (and bottle) Nabis downtown for $7. The China Glaze was $3 on sale on the Sally Beauty Supply web site.
COMMENTS: I saw the new Nabis two Fridays ago in downtown LA and had to try them! They boast a thicker formula, which meant just one coat of color for this mani. I realized this color looked just like another recent purchase though - so decided to wear both. The China Glaze needed two coats, but dries shinier than the Nabi.

Nabi - Green Glitter, Pure Ice - Oh Baby!

COMMENTS: I just couldn't leave my mani of OPI - Jade is the New Black alone. The next day I layered it with one coat each of Nabi - Green Glitter and then Pure Ice - Oh Baby!

UP NEXT: American Apparel - Cameo Blue

Color Las Vegas - Excalibur, Nabi - Blue Glitter, Nyx - Purple Ave

APPLICATION: Smooth on all
COATS: 3-level gradient in Excalibur, 1 each of Blue Glitter and Purple Ave
TOPCOAT?: Yes
SOURCE: Beauty supply stores in downtown Los Angeles
COMMENTS: When I swatched Excalibur and realized it was a blue jelly, I decided to try a gradient-style (some people call it syrup?) mani with it. I then topped it off with first Blue Glitter and finally added some flaky goodness with Purple Ave. For the record there are two Purple Ave colors in the Nyx brand - this is the one with the larger flakes in a purple base. Finished it off with the same rhinestones I used in the last mani - yes, I just cleaned them  in acetone and reused them!

**My skin appears two different colors in these photos. That's because I switched between camera modes to capture the color most accurately.

Nabi - Natural and NDB - Golden Bikini

APPLICATION: Smooth
COATS: 2 of Nabi - Natural, 1 of ND - Golden Bikini as accent.
TOPCOAT?: Yes
SOURCE: Two separate beauty supply stores in downtown Los Angeles.
COMMENTS: After a tough time deciding what color to wear, I settled on this recent addition to my stash. It needs another coat for full opacity, but I didn't feel like doing a third coat. I accented it with a dense gold glitter that from afar looks like bits of gold foil on the nail - me likey!
