I have a lot of nail polishes I made by mixing glitter with a sparkly base polish. Most of them I haven't worn yet. This one was a disappointment because the glitter was a pretty lavender color. The color came off, but I was able  to salvage  it by adding some Mia Secret tint - Blue.
**  Tengo un montón de esmaltes de uñas que hice por el brillo de mezcla con un esmalte brillante base. La mayoría de ellos no he usado todavía. Esta fue una decepción, porque el brillo fue un bonito color lavanda. El color se desprendió, pero fue capaz de salvarlo mediante la adición de un tinte Secreto Mia - Azul.

This looks nothing like it did when I made it about a year ago - then it was a pretty lavender color.

Here it is with two thick layers of topcoat. It's pretty, but not what I wanted.

I love using the tints to add color because they are clear. If I had used a creme nail polish, it would have clouded my mixture a little.

I was only able to get one photo of this as I was busy cooking the day I wore it. The red is close to a red-orange, and I applied it directly to my nails. These polishes tend to get streaky if you go over the same spot twice, but they're so shiny! No staining on this one.
 ** Yo sólo era capaz de conseguir una foto de esto como yo estaba ocupada cocinando el día que me lo puse. El rojo está cerca de un color rojo-naranja, y lo aplica directamente sobre las uñas. Estos esmaltes tienden a ser rayados si usted pasa el mismo lugar dos veces, pero son tan brillantes! No hay manchas en este caso.

I was asked by someone if the nail polishes would stain the nails. I decided to wear the Blue and Ocean ones  with three other blue polishes of similar finish (jelly/see-through) to compare.
**  Me preguntó alguien si el esmalte Mia Secret Tint se mancha las uñas. Decidí usar los azules y el océano azul con tres otros esmaltes de acabado similar (gelatina / transparente) para comparar.

Stamped with gold and silver chrome nail polishes.
Much to my surprise (and dislike), even though I put a layer of topcoat between the polish and the stamping, when I put a final layer of topcoat on the manicure, the Mia Secret colors went through and stained the stamped patterns. This means they will not work well as bases for stamping.
**  Estampado en esmaltes oro y plata cromado. Para mi sorpresa (y no les gusta), aunque puso una capa de acabado entre las uñas y el estampado, cuando pongo una capa final de acabado en la manicura, los colores Mia Secret pasó y manchadas los patrones estampados. Esto significa que no van a funcionar bien como bases para la estampación.

 After brushing with whitening toothpaste, still some staining from the Mia Secrets:

I had a base coat on, but as you can see, it didn't prevent staining. The Mia Secret stains remained on the parts of my nails that were peeling. Make sure to use a thick coat of base coat if you use them directly on your nails!
**  Había una capa de base, pero como se puede ver, no evitar que se manchen. Las manchas de Mia Secret permaneció en las partes de las uñas que estaban pelando. Asegúrese de usar una capa gruesa de la capa de base si se utilizan directamente en sus uñas!

I'm loving the tints from Mia Secret so much that I had to try at least one franken with them. The funny thing is I didn't like this Revlon (Powder Puff) when I first tried it out, and now that I've discovered its potential, I've had to go out and get more! Fortunately this color is on clearance at CVS right now!
**  Me encantan las tintas de Mia Secret tanto que tuve que tratar de por lo menos un franken con ellos. Lo curioso es que no me gustaba este Revlon (Powder Puff) la primera vez que lo probé, y ahora que he descubierto su potencial, he tenido que salir a buscar más! Afortunadamente, este color se encuentra en liquidación en CVS ahora!

This manicure was supposed to be just two coats of the California Nails mini. I managed to apply it smoothly when I first tried it in this post, but it didn't look smooth this time. Glitter to the rescue! One coat of Mia Secret Storm of Glitter in Silver completely transformed the manicure. I loved this! Soooo shiny!
**  Esta manicura se suponía que era sólo de dos capas de la mini de California Nails. Me las arreglé para aplicar sin problemas la primera vez que lo intentó en este post, pero que no se veía suave este momento. Brillo al rescate! Una capa de Mia Secret Storm of Glitter en Silver (plata) transformó por completo la manicura. Me encantó este! Taaaan brillante!
