Another "oldie but goodie" nail polish, Suede Shoes was just one coat! I think it may be because it has thickened up over the years, but I was happy to have a quick manicure. The stamping was done with a pattern from my Magnonails XL plate D. (There is now a US seller on Amazon offering plates with the same patterns. I have not purchased anything from this seller, but wanted to let you know anyway)
**  Otro "viejo pero bueno" esmalte de uñas, Suede Shoes era una sola capa! Creo que puede ser porque ha engrosado a lo largo de los años, pero yo estaba feliz de tener una manicura rápida.  La estampación se realiza con un patrón de mis Magnonails XL placa de D. (Ahora hay un vendedor EE.UU. en Amazon que ofrece platos con los mismos patrones. No he comprado nada de este vendedor, pero quería hacerles saber de todos modos)

COMMENTS: This is a pretty color from one of the MANY Simple Pleasures polishes I've acquired (why do they have so many sets? I love sets and just can't resist!). I didn't want to  commit to full color, so did just tips over my base coat.

Then I decided to add some matching glitter at the edge courtesy of Sally Hansen - Planetary.

Just as an aside - I've had this glitter (and quite a few like it) since it came out. On the back it's dated 1999, which makes sense because by then I was out of college and working at my first job.
Anyway, back on topic - I then added a layer of Ruby Kisses Madmoiselle:

And  finally a layer of  Love My Nails - Dazzling

The final look is okay.  My husband liked it a lot because he likes being able to see my bare nail for a change. I of course keep noticing my stained nails...

Avon - Midnight Plum, Love My Nails - Diva

COMMENTS: I've been feeling like wearing all black or something rich and dark lately (maybe due to my return to work and how gloomy it is in LA versus where I live?). Either way, I settled on this rich deep plum color. As is usual with these Avons, I could probably have gotten away with one generous coat had I been more careful. I paired these two colors together when I first bought  and played with them, so naturally, the sparkly micro-bar glitter that is Diva came for the ride again. A line with LA Colors - Magenta striper finished off the mani.

Sally Hansen - Sheer Strawberry, Love My Nails - Mauve Shimmer

APPLICATION: Sheer Strawberry was streaky, Mauve Shimmer was smooth.
COATS: 2 of Sheer Strawberry - the base for this mani, 1 of Mauve Shimmer - the accent.
TOPCOAT?: Yes

COMMENTS: I  really wanted to do this mani in fall colors, since I just received some polishes I bought from Diamond Cosmetics. However, my hubby wanted me to wear something light (which to him is things like lavender, light blue, pastels, etc), so I went the pink route. I'm still loving the dots as you can see!
