Le Chat - Hi-Voltage, with flakies

COATS:
1
SOURCE:
Nail Supply House, San Gabriel, CA
COMMENTS:
I was tempted to leave this polish unadorned as it was so pretty at just one coat. I wanted to try out these flakes from Aliexpress though, so I proceeded to layer them on.

Dare to Wear mood polish - Sundance

COATS:
3
SOURCE:
Nail Supply House
COMMENTS:
I wanted to love this one, but my plans to stamp over it were thwarted by the fact that it took 3 coats to get full coverage. I settled for dots with a nail art pen instead. Sigh... the color transition is beautiful, however.

Dare to Wear Mood - Coral Caress, Blackheart Beauty - Galaxy Effect Pink

COATS:
2 + 1
SOURCE:
Nail Supply House; Hot Topic
COMMENTS:
I couldn't decide which of these to wear first so decided to layer the holographic one on two nails. The color change is still visible through it.

Holographic pigment over gel polish

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Aliexpress
COMMENTS:
I had wanted to try this for a while and decided I was finally ready to be "blinded by the holo". Started with two coats of Le Chat gel in Obsession, topped with no-wipe topcoat, then buffed in the holo powder and topped with another layer of gel topcoat.  I could barely keep my eyes off of my nails!

Le Chat Dare to Wear - Peach Blast

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Nail Supply House
COMMENTS:
I picked up a few neons last summer even though I rarely wear neons (because with such high contrast against my skin, I feel like I always need to tone them down somehow - like with stamping). I'd heard these were 1-coaters, but alas I needed 2 for my mani.

Glitter franken using Le Chat Mood - Deep Sea, and process

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Same as previous posts - gel polish + holographic glitter
COMMENTS:
Deciding to keep it simple this time I stuck with just one thermal gel polish for my franken. I've included photos of my process for mixing just enough for one manicure (two coats).

Thermal holographic glitter franken using multiple Le Chat Mood polishes

COATS:
2
SOURCE:
Mixture of: 4 different Le Chat Perfect Match Mood gel polishes, Elite99 Metallic top coat gel polish, silver holographic glitter, gold holographic glitter.
COMMENTS:
I decided to try this again (because it's fun!) but I think I had too many polishes in the mixture, so ended up with something similar to my last one.  To give myself something interesting to look at, I re-did one nail as an accent using two other gel polishes.
