This seemed like the perfect milky base, but at 3 coats it still hadn't leveled off. I took it off immediately. No manicure that night!

I stamped a pattern from the DRK-B plate on my previous mani and I loved it!

I prefer the color of Confetti - Fashionista over white much better than if I wore it alone as shown here - two coats.

This manicure turned out much brighter than I expected! It ended up looking like a neon manicure - oops! I really like the stamped pattern. It's from the Magnonails XL D plate. I believe there are people selling similar plates now on Amazon and Ebay at a more affordable price...

COMMENTS: I stumbled on  this color in a CVS recently and was a little surprised because I haven't seen any new Confetti polishes at all. Are they coming back? This and a grey were in the display, but it looked like there had also been others.
I marbled over it with Sally Hansen - No Hard Feelings and clear polish. The pattern on my pinky is my favorite.

It matched my hand towel - at least in real life it did!

Confetti - Cherries Jubilee and Vava Voom

APPLICATION: Smooth
COATS: 2 - although I may have been able to make them thick 1-coaters
TOPCOAT?: Not until after flakies added.
SOURCE: Confetti polishes from CVS Pharmacy, L'Oreal flake topcoat from Big Lots.
**Edit -  The flake topcoat is called Crushed Amethyst**
COMMENTS: These are both absolutely gorgeous saturated cremes that were a pleasure to put on! I topped them off with a purple flakie polish.

Confetti - Dreamdate and some more stencil fun!

Comments: I expected the pink in this to show up more on the nail, but the third coat still didn't show it. It is, however, a marvelous shimmery glass-flecked color, so I didn't mind the third coat. I wore this alone for a day and then had some fun with it - again with stencils! This time I used both results of the punch - the positive and negative cutout space, and alternated nails. I then came back in with a dotting tool for the centers of the flowers.

Confetti - Belle of the Ball - I must really like this color!

*I decided to cut my nails last night - I'm liking them shorter - for now :)


Application: A little bald on first coat, smooth on second.
Coats: 2 (of each color), with topcoat.

Comments: I say I must really like this color because as I was about to put it on, I realized I'd already purchased two polishes that were similar. The other colors are Zoya - Malia, which I just got, and Diamond Cosmetics - Pelican Peak Purple, which I absolutely love. I'm wearing all three. Blue line in the following pictures indicates which fingernail has which polish.

The Zoya has a bit more red in it, and the Diamond Cosmetics is super close, with just a teeny more white than Belle of the Ball. My fingers love them all!

Later in the day - Bundle Monster stamp. First with LA Colors Color Craze - Live Wire, and Konad Silver.
