You already got a preview of this nail polish in a previous post. I decided to wear it as a full manicure since I have a few more of these that I haven't worn yet. I love the bronze color, but wish the larger glitter was also bronze, not silver.
After wearing this for a day, I decided to add one coat of some Mia Secret tints. I love the outcome and can't say which of these I like the most, haha!

As usual, I've been mixing up new nail polish for myself, but am trying to wear more of them since I have so many that are unworn. I couldn't decide which of these two to wear, so I wore them both! The one with more glitter (pink) needed a third coat, so I put three coats on both of them.

I usually use my nail polish from this brand when I want smooth application, and this color was no exception. Rich chocolate is what this reminds me of.
The sponging was done first with a mixture of 2 drops brown to 1 drop of white, and then with a mixture of 1 to 1 of the same colors.

I have a lot of nail polishes I made by mixing glitter with a sparkly base polish. Most of them I haven't worn yet. This one was a disappointment because the glitter was a pretty lavender color. The color came off, but I was able to salvage it by adding some Mia Secret tint - Blue.

The NYC polish took 3 coats to become opaque, but will be useful with glitter. I sponged Zoya Envy and Dree over it, but didn't like the way it looked (I overdid the sponging), so covered it all with a coat of the gold glitter. I like it, but wish I had a bit more green close to my cuticles.

I purchased some nail polish from this brand last month when CVS had them really cheap on clearance. Creamcicle is simple, pretty, and does a good job at covering up my nail discoloration without adding too much color. The dots were added in Mirage - Red Bird.

I was only able to get one photo of this as I was busy cooking the day I wore it. The red is close to a red-orange, and I applied it directly to my nails. These polishes tend to get streaky if you go over the same spot twice, but they're so shiny! No staining on this one.

I was asked by someone if the nail polishes would stain the nails. I decided to wear the Blue and Ocean ones with three other blue polishes of similar finish (jelly/see-through) to compare.

Much to my surprise (and dislike), even though I put a layer of topcoat between the polish and the stamping, when I put a final layer of topcoat on the manicure, the Mia Secret colors went through and stained the stamped patterns. This means they will not work well as bases for stamping.

Look what the pretty Zoya - Edyta did to my fingernails after four days! They are all stained! Fortunately, I was able to get rid of the staining by brushing the nails with whitening toothpaste and a soft toothbrush. I'll need two thick coats of base coat next time I wear this one!

I recently purchased some nail polish from Forever 21, and decided to try out this pretty color. It applied wonderfully and dried to a glossy finish. Before starting my manicure I played with ideas for nail art and came up with one, but it required lines - which I cannot draw well on the nail - so I used dots instead!

This is one of my first bottles of nail polish! My mom received this as part of a gift set when I was a teenager, and she gave the set to me. There were 3 bottles of nail polish and some makeup in it. I finished one of the bottles, didn't like the color of the second, so left it behind, but this one came all the way from Nigeria with me when I came to college in this country. I've had and treasured it ever since.

I have a lot of glitter frankens that I've made and this is the most recent one. It was simple to make, the glitter kept most of its color, and it's gorgeous after you've applied enough layers of topcoat.

This is a beautiful dark burgundy jelly that is extremely shiny! It's gorgeous on its own, but I decided to layer it with two colors - Misa - Embroidered Emerald on the ring finger, and Pure Ice - Heartbreaker on the others.

I admired this nail polish on a co-worker, and she decided to bring it in for me to try out. It's a pretty pink, and was perfect for nail art. Stamping was done with a design from Magnonails XL plate D. I love it!

This is the third and final one the Barielle Protect Plus Color nail polishes. Unlike the first two, this needs 3 coats for full coverage. I added glitter to just one nail on my right hand after the manicure, but the next day added it to the rest of my nails. They looked like jewels!

Not much to say here - a pretty color. The accent fingers have one coat of Swizzle Stix and a franken polish that was made using Barielle Buddha-ful, Pure Ice - Heartbreaker, and a few drops of various teal polishes.

When I showed this other franken a while ago, I couldn't remember how I made it. I think I remember now though (black + Orly Green With Envy), because I have a similar one today. The recipe is really easy, and the photo shows exactly what I used. I started with Cosmetic Arts - Wild Child?? (not sure that is the name) and added Diamond Cosmetics - I'm Raven About You - a few drops at a time till I got a color I liked. I've always wanted to take a set of neon colors and modify them with black.

These colors are both wonderfully creamy and similar, but the Maybelline is a little darker than the OPI. Another one of my new plates (I got four total - XL plates D, F, K and A20) has patterns you see in nature, like snakeskin and wood grain. I decided to use one (from XL D) for this manicure.

I'm trying to make my collection smaller and one good way to do that is by wearing similar colors together in a manicure. Here are five similar yellows.
