New Nail Shape

COMMENTS | COMENTARIOS:

I'm trying out a new nail shape. We'll see how long I can go before one breaks.
**  Estoy probando una nueva forma de la uña. Vamos a ver cuánto tiempo puedo ir antes de una se rompa.

  1. Looks great! I tried this shape on my unswatched hand several months ago. I really enjoyed them. I may try it again only this time on both hands.

I was surprised that I didn't get any breaks, matter of fact my nails grew really long so much so I had a hard time trying to shorten them. Lol! :)

    1. I haven't decided which I prefer yet - I'll definitely be switching up once these break or I get tired of the shape :)

  5. You are very lucky having a long nail bed. Even if you cut your nails, they will look long.

    1. Yes, I definitely am fortunate :) That's why I can actually enjoy my nails even when they break and are very short.

    1. Thanks, I think I might end up just adding this shape to the cycle - very short = rounded, a little longer = square, much longer = oval/almond like this :)

  7. I'm also trying this nail shape! Yours looks so lovely and feminine. I'm trying it to avoid so many breaks on the corners

  9. I like! Mine are that shape now (due to a snapped corner a few weeks ago) and I'm enjoying them. I find long almonds much less cumbersome than long squares, and a lot less work to keep in shape too.

    1. I don't know about less work, haha! - these take me so long to shape - and they still look lopsided to me! My squovals were much less work for me :) I'll keep wearing this till I'm tired of them or they break though. Thanks for your comment!

  10. You shape your nails so perfectly! I"m thinking about switching to this shape also (via a salon mani) but I'm worried I won't be able to maintain it at home as easily as my beloved squoval!

    1. Go for it Ebony! You won't know unless you try - it may end up being easier to maintain for you.

  11. They look so elegant! I find my nails break less if oval than squoval so going to be oval form now on!!
