XL plates - still too small!

SOURCE: Magnonails.de
COMMENTS: I was so hoping that these XL stamping plate patterns would fully cover my nails. Alas, it's not to be! Sigh... Someone needs to come up with super XL stamping plates and stampers. *sniffle*

These will only cover all my nails if they are painfully short, and I wish they'd made them full rectangles instead of curved for use on french manis :(

I'll have to find a way to make them work... some other time.

  1. They look kinda cool, almost like a patterned moonicure or reverse french. I like it!

  2. Lol, it's kind of an interesting look though. Someone should send companies an email.

  3. That is a bummer. Someone really should make plates especially for you really long nailed goddesses. Those designs would have been good for you had they been a little longer and didn't have that stupid curve.

  4. i didnt notice that until i read your post! i've always thought the xl plate is enough to cover even the longest nail.

  6. I have the same plates- and the same problem. Too short and too narrow (for my thumbs). I fantasize about really large patterns that I can also use on my big toes! Sometimes you can sort of stamp diagonally but not alll patterns are suitable for that. Can we not have our own made? I'm sure it is possible; there's a girl here in Holland who's selling her own designs. She has some new ones coming up - maybe they are better? Check out her webshop:

  8. OH no!
It doesn't look bad at all, but you are right, the designs should be full rectangles.

  11. Doesn't look too bad as a reverse french, though. I like that pink.

  14. I was wondering why they would do the arch in them, but I guess some of the designs would make a cute french mani... on the brightside at least. It does give you an interesting half-moon mani though I think. Good luck in finding your perfect fit!!

  16. Dang! I've almost given up on Konad. I love the idea of stamping but I have giant nails. I'm 6 ft tall and my nails are wide and medium long. The full nail patterns don't even come close to filling my nail.
