Sinful Colors - Green Ocean

Application: Easy. I'm actually surprised I was able to get so many flakies with one coat.
Coats: 1 coat over two coats of Fingerpaints - Shades of Dark - a rich vampy color.
Source: Walgreens
Comments: When I first found out what color #177 in my spreadsheet actually was, I was disheartened. I had no idea how I would wear it. So I tried it on over some blue, green, turquoise, black, white, purple and this purple/burgundy. The blues and greens overwhelmed it - it was barely visible. It looked seriously ugly over white. It looked okay over black, but I found the contrast too harsh, so I settled on this color. I REALLY didn't expect to like this so much, however, it's gorgeous layered like this! The flakes flash electric blue and green, and I actually like that they come in multiple sizes.

Here is the base of Fingerpaints - Shades of Dark. Such a rich and beautiful color. This is before I put on the Green Ocean- so shiny even without topcoat!

Next I put Green Ocean on and a regular topcoat. As you can see, the flakies are chunky enough to still show texture through the topcoat.

And after a coat of Seche Vite. Much smoother now.

The star once again...

And the best supporting actor...
Finally - with flash.

  1. Very pretty and I'm like shades of dark! I'm wondering how would green ocean look over sinful's irish green? I bought them together from a display.
